Our Bakery

At Medora Market, our bakery is more than just sweets—it’s a tribute to the generations of women who came before us. Our recipes trace back over 100 years, lovingly passed down through the same family, and reflect the timeless cooking style of our grandmothers and great-grandmothers—simple, wholesome, and made from scratch.

Courtney’s love for baking began at the age of five, standing on a stool beside her Great Grandma Edna Martin, who taught her the art of baking pies, rolling dough, and crafting old-fashioned candies by hand. Her mom Jeanette Martin was right along their side and continued to carry on the Martin Traditions of candy making and baked goods after Edna passed (Jeanette's Grandmother in Law).  Today, that same passion and tradition live on in every cookie, pie, and sweet treat we serve—bringing comfort, nostalgia, and homemade goodness to every bite.
